#AThousandSilentWords #VersesInMotion part 3

Bridge

Suspended,
on this bridge
crossing over life
Spatial excess
the extension of us
fluid and flexible
against the rigid chords of time.
Listening to thoughts
breathing ideas,
virtual reality our dreams
floating on waves of disbelief
landing on proposed realities…

#AThousandSilentWords

The sound of silence

Blanket of nullity,
no time,
it invades the space
swallows the voice
suffocates words
crushes the heart.

Soul’s cords vibrate
with no sound.
Only the blowing wind
in the chorus of wing-beats
through bare branches
on a carpet of leaves
of a winter garden

Still
Rigid of ice and frost
enchanted, taciturn
Icy colored flowers.
Sound waves
infiltrated
in a tissue of cries
heart-rending,

Sharp
locked
and through the cold walls
of uncertain times
the sound of silence
screams again.

Il suono del silenzio

La coltre del nulla,
senza tempo
invade lo spazio
ingoia la voce
soffoca le parole
stritola il cuore

Vibrano le corde dell’anima
nessun suono
solo i soffi del vento
in cori di battiti d’ali
tra rami spogli,
su tappeti di foglie
di un giardino d’inverno

Fermo
rigido di gelo e brina
incantato e taciturno
Fiori color ghiaccio,
onde sonore,
infiltrate in un tessuto di urla,
rimangono prigioniere
e tra le mura fredde
di una sera incerta,
il suono del silenzio grida ancora.

Dreams

Drifting into sleep

finding soul cords and vibrations,

looking inside the maze of my heart

where beats connect to breathing

following the path of never

Resting my mind from this anxious time

suspended

through the highs of skies and the lows of dusty lands

Jumping on clouds

pouring rain drops and heavy thoughts

on muddy puddles of memories

Fragile dreams,

Pure visions,

shattered on shining trails of stardust

places, faces

slow motion, sequence of impossible events

Timeless parade of pacing words and frames

walking through nights of fire and stormy days of wonder

in a soft bubble of hopes and fears,

“where the invisible becomes essential.”

Colours

By Laura LME  ©

My name is love,
my colour is red.
Vivid drops of ruby
poured over your skin,
showers of ink and paint
dominated by shadows,
in the light of antic flames
burning your heart!

My name is pain,
my colour is orange.
Veins of flowing fluid
deep slopes of sharpness,
in the cavities of time
pressing against your organs,
extracting bitter tears
contracting your heart.

My name is hope,
my colour is yellow.
Wires of metallic nets
needles of faith,
spread around you
thin rays of thunder,
conducting electricity
empowering your mind.

My name is strength,
my colour is power!
Shades of acceptance,
nuances of fight
depth of belief,
brushes of inspiration
dipped in beauty,
painting the canvas of life!

NOW OPEN!!!  The Peace Project’s 5th annual Call-for-Artists

Asking artists worldwide to show us where Peace starts. Is Peace born out of love, community, in the innocence of a child or the beauty of nature? How can we end the senseless war and embrace equality for all?

In four short years, The Peace Project, supported by artists and others, has:

  • Educated dozens of children in Sierra Leone, Africa.

  • Distributed 10,000 pairs of crutches to amputees, war victims, polio survivors and mothers and children in Sierra Leone on World Peace Day, 2011.

  • Designed a Peace Museum in Sierra Leone in conjunction with the United Nations.

  • Created and produced Peace Tips, specially designed crutch tips that last one year, extend the life of crutches and greatly improve mobility for users.

  • And currently, we’re building 40 houses and a community center in the Philippines for victims of Typhoon Haiyan.  A total of 200 are planned.

”Our work proves that we can change the world if we join hands, think creatively and take action.”
